Job Description

Our Supply team are the team that fuels our customers, literally! Supply at Z Energy looks after the whole fuel supply chain and ensures we have what we need, where we need it. Our Supply Aviation team at Christchurch Airport works to ensure a safe and reliable fuel service.

Our current Kairuruku Taunga Rererangi o Ōtautahi Christchurch Airport Coordinator is heading off on their parental leave journey and we are looking for someone to step in from late August 2024 until early March 2025 to support the team and our Airport Manager.

Bringing your administration and coordination skills to this varied role your days will see you updating data, reconciling stock, managing purchasing and providing reporting as well as booking health checks and ordering safety equipment for the team.

This is a fixed term part time parental leave contract working 20 hours a week, Mondays and Tuesdays are key days however there is flexibility across the rest of the week. If you have genuine reason for seeking and committing to part-time work for this fixed term, we would love to hear from you.

You will have the opportunity to

  • Manage product receipt and sale records in a stock management system, including daily reconciliation and monthly reporting
  • Organising health checks for the team of Aircraft Refuelers and ordering the appropriate PPE
  • Creating and receipting Purchase Orders, managing and resolving all accounts payable queries/issues and liaising Z’s accounts team
  • Updating registers and risk review records
  • Purchasing office equipment and consumables
  • Liaising with third party contractors and arranging site inductions
  • Providing general administrative support


What you’ll bring to Z

  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with a range of people
  • Problem solving skills and a can-do attitude
  • Initiative and ability to self-manage and an eye for detail
  • The ability to commit to a part time fixed term contract

The base salary range for this role is $64,600 to $72,000 per annum pro-rated for hours worked and fixed term. We also offer a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
