Key Account and Business Development Manager

The purpose of the role is to:

• Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements;
• Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients including new customers
through transition phase to ensure that their operational and development needs are
met while achieving Netlogix growth objectives;
• Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions
that meet their objectives, grow revenue and offer complementary solutions to new
customers;
• Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner;
• Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal Netlogix teams;
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to
maintain trust;
• Play an integral part in generating new services with existing customers that will turn
into long-lasting relationships;
• Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders
using key account metrics;
• Research, monitor market trends and seek potential customer feedback to develop
solutions and launch new products and services to drive profitability;
• Use excellent judgement and highly developed analytical skills to deliver high quality
decisions; and
• Develop and maintain good relationships with all key stakeholders and internal staff.

• Resolve customer issues and respond to queries and
requests in a timely manner in accordance with
company’s customer service ethics and promise
• Close liaison with operations and finance team to ensure
day to day service delivery meet and exceeds the
customer promise and incompliance with the company’s
service culture
• Communicate in a clear and concise manner
Business growth and
development
• Grow market share and complementary customer base to
company’s freight network
• Develop and launch service and pricing strategies
improve margins
• Challenge business scope and boundaries in developing
solutions to customers ensure the company’s growth is
not limited by the initial scope
• Proactively involve and engage with industry networks to
target potential customers for growth
• Work closely with operations and finance teams to
understand the customer in developing new service
solutions
• Convert customer issues, problems and challenges to
innovative business solutions that are marketable and
profitable
• Active management of new customer initiatives from
proposal to BAU
• Develop and deliver on 3-year customer growth plan
including the revenue and EBITDA targets by customer
segments
• Maintain customer price schedules and other master data
• Consideration of overall outcome
• Prepare and use of reports and other information to
support day to day decisions
Excellent self-management

• Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
• Delivering results in accordance with customer KPIs and
business growth targets
• Work as an effective/cooperative member of a team
Effective working

• Develop and maintain good working relationships with
internal and external stakeholders (carriers, customers
and industry groups)

1.4 Corporate Accountabilities
Health and Safety &
Compliance
• Employees practice safe work methods, make proper use
of safety equipment and help management to eliminate
workplace hazards
• Participate in health and safety training, report safety
incidents and hazards identified during execution of
transport orders
• Employees carry out safety and compliance checks per
standard operating procedures and/or annual safety and
compliance management plan to ensure safety &
compliance procedures, policies and practices are
adhered by the carriers, internal staff and other
stakeholders.
Business Continuity
Planning and Support
• Employees participate in business continuity planning
process and play an important role in executing these
plans to manage the business disruptions arising out of
natural disasters or other events

Location is Ellerslie but could be from any of their sites, they have locations in Wiri as well
Pay range is up to $120K
Definitely WFH options in this role but would need to be discussed with the hiring manager, again would need to be in the office to start with due to training and getting to know the team, etc.
Hours would be flexible depending on what the customers need, this would be more self-managing to ensure their availability for their customers and potential customers

This role is based in Auckland, the pay range is not specified. There will be no commission charge on this job. Refer to the attached JD for further detailed information.
