Due to the impact of Covid-19 in 2020, the business needed to quickly change its direction. To ensure the ongoing growth of shareholder value, it was necessary to implement a post- and ongoing-Covid response strategy. The embedding of governance structures (processes, policies, and systems), formalization of client relationships/arrangements, expansion and stabilization of revenue-generating staff, and implementation of stringent financial controls were key to ensuring sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead the company’s annual and strategic business plan, including overseeing the execution and governance of key programs reported to the Board of Shareholders.
• Lead the post-Covid recovery strategy and execution, an additional response strategy for potential future lockdowns, to maintain a high-performance culture and business continuity.
• Implement measures to stabilize cost control through efficient procurement and expenditure practices.
• Secure formalized client contracts, ensuring up-to-date PSA and MSA clients, and increasing MSA clients.
• Establish structures and systems to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risk exposures.
• Lead the digitization of marketing and customer experience for the entire organization to increase brand awareness and value in the Auckland market.
Key Achievements:
• Increased EBIT, delivering consistent growth with strategy development and operational management. Strategic business architect, influencer and facilitator for the Board. Create alignment with the Board’s vision and operational delivery.
• Reduced cost, strict cost evaluation rules and procurement principles.
• Increased revenue-generating staff, identifying, overseeing the development and training of staff and retention strategies. Ensuring mitigating staff strategies are in place to ensure growth & delivery.
