I’m Bronagh, originally from Ireland and have been living in New Zealand for the past 8 years. Since making the ‘big move’, I have been fully immersed in the Recruitment and Talent Aquisition space and loving every part of it. I have built an incredible network along the way, one which has taken me from step to step in my career.

My experience ranges from agency Recruitment; both white and blue collar across temporary and permanent, as well as internal Talent Aquisition for some amazing companies and projects.

To date, I have worked on some incredible projects, to include my recent role within Transport Rebuild East Coast. An Alliance which was set up as an emergency response to plan, organise and deliver much of the recovery and rebuild work needed on the highway and rail networks in Te Tairāwhiti (Gisborne) and Te Matau a Māui (Hawke’s Bay) following Cyclone Gabrielle, in conjunction with local businesses and contractors.

Here, as Talent Aquisition Manager, I led strategic workforce planning, process implementation including ATS, community and stakeholder engagement and leadership of the wider team. Between September 2023 and June 2024, I built a workforce of over 400 FTE white collar staff and conducted the onboarding for a further 200 consultancy staff. This was an incredibly complex and dynamic role, but an amazing project to be involved with.

• Analysing needs from a broad perspective and shaping strategy around them.
• Managing the candidate, hiring manager and client experience to the highest level, ensuring that the business reputation is kept at the forefront of all engagement.
• Strong technical ability, with experience in utilising a range of ATS systems and LinkedIn recruiter.
• Conducting international and graduate recruitment campaigns.
• Bringing creativity to advertisements and enhancing online presence.
