Highly accomplished and results-oriented, international Organisational Development Executive with seven year’s experience in driving organisational growth and maximising performance through developing and implementing strategic talent initiatives and programmes which shape exceptional employee experiences. Proven track record in building, coaching and leading high performing teams to achieve business priorities and release untapped people potential through attracting and developing talent, enhancing employee engagement and improving operational efficiency and growth. Respected business partner and transformational change-maker, recognised for strategic mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

With my background working within the visitor and retail experience operations teams at some of Wellingtons most iconic tourist attractions such as Museums Wellington, Space Place and the Wellington Botanic Gardens I am seeking a role to shift laterally and move my career toward the digital space.

I have developed a love and passion for communication, digital content creation and improving the experience of the customer both online and in person. Through meaningful engagement on recreational and professional social platforms (Meta, Instagram and Facebook) I have successfully built my own Wellington food brand Niche Nibbles and improved on many others through my work creating content and supporting the needs and goals of organisations to achieve results.

Through my experience leading teams and managing people in experience based environments I build meaningful relationships, listening and taking smart actions with an anything is possible mindset. I am organised and plan ahead to create strategic content that aligns with the business’s goals, products and promotions while fostering a genuine ‘real human’ behind the scenes authenticity. Being creative and thinking out of the box are my key strengths as well as working towards goals, deadlines and budgets. I love having a target to achieve.

As the Visitor Services Team Leader at the Wellington Gardens, I took it upon myself to lead the online profile of the gardens in collaboration with the communications team. As the ‘boots-on-the-ground’ I collated the information I needed from the subject expert gardeners and generated interesting and engaging seasonal content showcasing the beauty, history and current events going on at the gardens. I was also solely responsible for a full website update of the Wellington Gardens webpage (Silverstripe), which arose from a single link not working as it should. I also created a range of ‘how to’ gardening videos on YouTube demonstrating the skills of the team. I am confident using most web platforms including WordPress, Squarespace and Silverstripe and easily pickup others.

I am a creative ‘get-things-done’ person and would relish an opportunity to combine my interpersonal skills with digital community management. I believe in creative problem solving and pride myself on being a fast digital learner.

Looking forward to meeting and discussing how I can contribute to your business.

Yours sincerely

Tracy Muir

I am skilled in change management, business transformation, and corporate development, with a solid reputation as a strategist, problem solver, and innovator.

My leadership strengths include a focus on people and culture, financial and sales management, change management, and business transformation, as well as governance and compliance. I have experience leading diverse teams, portfolios, and revenue streams, with a balance of empathy and a laser focus on getting the job done while maintaining high-value people and partners.

My specific achievements include increasing service delivery capability, improving EBIT, reducing costs and overhead, optimizing processes and systems, increasing productivity and reducing redundant operational staff, and meeting licensing criteria.
