Born and raised in Germany, I came to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2008 and have been living and working here ever since.

My path took me across a variety of industries and businesses. From a design agency like Design Works to in-house roles at international companies like Vent. I have worked on award winning projects like Beekist and managed teams at a tech start-up.

I am a communicator and this is what I have been doing since the beginning of this millennium, ever since I started my degree as a communications designer in 2000.

What brought me where I am at now is passion. Passion to make a positive impact on peoples life’s through my work. To be able to do so I listen and hear peoples needs and pain points. I am a problem finder and solver and focus on functionality first. To be able to provide successful design we must remove our bias and make decisions based on research and facts.

Hi there! My name is Ashleigh, I grew up in sunny Tauranga, New Zealand. I am currently based in Hamilton to complete my studies at the University of Waikato. Currently in my third year, studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing and minoring in Strategic Management.

I currently work part-time as a Marketing and Sales Assistant for two businesses, LUXE Baby and On2it Electronics. I run all social media marketing, manage social media accounts, post and content designing (on Canva), I also run and look after Wix websites, create and implement marketing and sales strategies, experience with email campaigns, Google Ads and Meta Business Suite and more!

I used to run my own small dress rental business, Rent Your Dress NZ (which I have now sold on). I have experience with Shopify and all admin for running a small business.  So I can really understand how stressful running a small business can be! But can also be an amazing and rewarding experience!
