We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Marketing team in this hands-on Marketing Manager role.

As our Marketing Manager, you will get the chance to do a bit of everything. You will be supported by our Senior Marketing Coordinator, and will work closely with the CEO to set the marketing strategy and vision. We’re looking for a hands-on doer who can get marketing tasks done, and collaborating with our sales and design teams, and working alongside the product and service teams on joint initiatives. This will help Silverstripe with our goal of acquiring new business opportunities and raising awareness of our services and capabilities to prospective and existing clients.

This is a Wellington based role, offering hybrid working opportunities, which we actively support for our people.

What will I be doing?

  • Marketing Strategy: Formulate and execute Silverstripe’s marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the wider company strategy
  • Brand awareness: Build and raise a strong presence amongst target audiences with creative, aligned marketing communication, digital campaigns, and client events
  • Digital marketing: Assist in coordinating Silverstripe’s social media presence, ensuring alignment with business goals by creating engaging content
  • Plan, write and edit high-quality external communications including PR, stakeholder engagement, case studies and marketing campaigns
  • Growing client base: collaborate with the Sales team, ensuring exemplary communication and alignment on campaign and target account strategy
  • Client experience for retention: collaborate with internal teams, using data analytics to continuously improve the client experience
  • Leading the creation of marketing collateral to enable sales (e.g. case studies and white papers, proposals, videos, etc.)
  • Following the market: Understanding Marketing trends and ensuring Silverstripe keeps up with them
  • Setting up and maintaining ways to collect and act on customer feedback, such as through the use of regular workshops and surveys, and feeding information gathered through to our teams.
  • Providing regular updates to Senior Leadership on Marketing progress and metrics to ensure strategic alignment
  • People development: contribute to the ongoing professional development of the Marketing team through effective leadership, mentoring, coaching, and frequent feedback.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • 4 years of Marketing experience, ideally with people leadership role
  • Working in a small to medium sized business
  • Familiarity with our market: government and big businesses, and how we help them with digital, mobile/web, and online customer service delivery needs
  • Digital and social media marketing best practices; client experience and journey mapping best practices
  • Strong written communication skills with experience crafting content for B2B audiences across multiple formats (e.g. blog posts, campaign assets, client-facing material)
  • Proven track-record of success in partnering with Sales for common goals
  • Skilled in data-driven marketing, with demonstrated analytical ability and detail oriented
  • Ability to translate business goals into effective marketing strategies
  • Experience with Salesforce

A bit about how we recruit

We anticipate there to be three steps to this recruitment process. We will shortlist candidates for a coffee chat, which is an informal catch up with the hiring manager. We will then hold a panel interview, in person if possible! Our preferred candidates will then be invited to come in and present to a larger panel on a brief we provide.
