Note: Partly’s headquarters are in Christchurch (NZ) and London (UK), but we have employees across NZ, AU, IN, PH, JP, UK and the EU. If you are not based in London, we will fly you to our London office for 1 week per quarter for our “Season Openers” (we pay for your travel and accommodation).

🖍️ This role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in our Marketing and Lead Generation department.
Your primary responsibility will be to generate and qualify leads, paving the way for our Account Executives to close deals. You will engage with prospective customers, identify their needs, and create a seamless transition between the marketing and sales teams.
💻 What will you do
* Research and identify potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and industry events.
* Generate a consistent stream of high-quality leads to fill the sales pipeline, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
* Evaluate and qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure they fit our ideal customer profile and buying personas.
* Initiate conversations with prospects, educate them about our products or services, and build interest through effective communication.
* Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to articulate their value propositions clearly and concisely.
* Use our CRM system (Hubspot) to track lead interactions, update prospect information, and maintain accurate records.
* Work closely with Account Executives to strategise on lead development and handoff processes.
* Provide regular reports on lead generation and qualification progress, including key metrics and KPIs.
* Stay up-to-date on automotive and SaaS industry trends, competitive intelligence, and sales techniques to continually improve your skills.

* 2+ years experience in demand development and lead generation roles, preferably in the SaaS industry.
* A passion for everything automotive, preferably with 2+ years of direct automotive industry experience.
* Familiarity with CRM software such as Hubspot.
* Demonstrated ability to explain complex issues clearly.
* A positive attitude, resilience, and demonstrated ability to be extremely detail-oriented.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent listening skills.
* The ability to develop rapport, influence others, and maintain strong working relationships.
* Self-motivation, persistence, and the ability to work independently.
