Light & Shade Solutions is a New Zealand based Shutters & Blinds business. The owner​ was made redundant during the first COVID lock down after 12 years with a company & decided to take his 35 years experience and venture out on his own.

Flow Cre8tive was hired to design a website for and create the business from the ground up which is now converting 6 – 10 clients a month.

When creating the brand design for Light & Shade Solutions, I focused on the clean lines and natural lighting that are associated with light and windows. Blue for the sky, white for the light and grey as a complement to these two colour combinations. ​

There is so much information around these products that it was crucial to spend time thinking about the site navigation so that it was user friendly, while making sure to focus on device optimisation due to the demographic that was predominately on tablets and mobile.

Designing a trade website needs to have the end user in mind, so that they can quickly ascertain the product and services that a business offers. This website design was simple and effective with bold strong fonts and high quality imagery.
