Hi there! My name is Jess and I’m based in Dunedin, NZ. I am mum to a gorgeous wee girl, and a business owner. I’m a bit of a Jane of all Trades, given my varied work background and current ventures. Here’s a break down of some of my core skills:

Blog/content writing

An avid writer, I love to write blogs. I blog (fairly) regularly over on my website The Mum Tribe, but also on my personal blog (okay it’s been a while since I’ve blogged here!). I’ve also written product blogs and blog content relevant to the beauty industry in my last job. I love to research and produce blog content that provides value to my readers.

E-commerce software setup

I’ve been through four different e-commerce softwares for my online store so far, and I’ve gained a huge amount of knowledge about each of them. Being a product/software person by trade, I pick things up really fast and can easily troubleshoot. I can do basic HTML/changes to themes in Shopify and BigCommerce. I’m also well versed in the importing of data into these softwares having done it myself a few times now.

Product management/Product marketing

My work background is in product management, and I have worked at an award-winning NASDAQ-listed company as a Product Owner and Product Analyst. In both of these roles I gained skills invaluable skills which I now apply to my business daily.
