I have worked in design for over 10 years now, starting my career in commercial interior design and transitioning into the more sustainable digital environment approximately 7 years ago.
Over the span of my career I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the most well-known local and international brands and public figures, and have had my work (digital and interior design) featured in a number of Australian publications.
I began freelancing in 2020 off the back of a redundancy during the first wave of covid lockdowns (which now ironically feels like a blessing). 2 years later, and I couldn’t imagine going back to a typical 9-5.
Having the time flexibility to make myself available to my son (6yrs) during his first years of school, and to actively participate within the school community, has been amazing.
My first 18 months as a freelancer really solidified for me the direction I want to be moving in, both professionally and personally. So in 2021, I took a leap of faith and registered my company Incubis Pty Ltd – and continue to freelance to support the business to grow during these early years.
I look forward to being a part of the HireHer community, and actively supporting other women in business (side note – what a fantastic idea this platform is!).
