I've worked across many industries getting results for my clients. These industries include agribusiness, forestry, construction, publishing, tourism, and events.
Marketing Manager
This role covered marketing, sales, reservations and event management for Huka Prawn Park a busy tourism operation in Taupo.
While in this role I refocused the company’s marketing message, critically assessed the company's advertising and refreshed the company’s marketing collateral and digital brand appearance.
This resulted in:
Increased website visits by 14%
Increased page likes on facebook 230%
Increased company profile on relevant tourism websites
I also handled all group reservations and ran event management for large functions. I represented the company at trade shows and hosted site famils for conference managers, inbound tourism operators and people from the media.
Marketing Assistant
In my time at Lockwood I played an active role in the launch of a new website & CRM system. We created all new collateral including a new plan book, brochures and display signage. Some key tasks involved in this role were:
- Co-ordinating monthly internal and external e-newsletters and ad-hoc html e-mail promotions
- Designing print and web adverts, interactive pdf’s and signage.
- Providing assistance with marketing strategies and campaigns
- Event management for national conferences
- Reception and customer service in the National Show Village
- Personal assistance to management team
