I failed every level of my schooling, wow was I good at failing! A little thought and alot of support led me on to a Bachelor of Performing Arts then onto post grad study and eventually I walked out of Auckland University with a Masters Degree (with first class honours). I am a testament to the fact that absolutely anyone can do whatever it is they set their mind to. Who says you can’t do it? I realised it was fear telling me i’d fail before I even tried, so why bother right?! Wrong! My journey in education was me being afraid and doing it anyway. I even went on to lecture at Auckland Uni too, that was a whole new level of crapping my pants but doing it anyway type of fear!
