Logistics Assistant

This is a position to support the Logistics Leader. Duties include:
● Preparation of supporting documents for outgoing goods
● Review/receipting of incoming goods
● Preparing orders for collection – working with forklift drives to ensure orders are staged and labelled correctly
● Invoicing customers upon order collection
● Working with other departments to ensure the receive their materials once unloaded
● Assisting in managing the team in the absence of the Logistics Leader or if they do not have capacity – providing instructions and daily tasks for the forklift drivers to complete such as ensure stock rotations are completed, incoming goods are moved to their correct location, staging dry goods for the packaging team etc
● Liaising with transport companies to ensure goods are received/dispatch within the allocated delivery/collection time
● Working with customers to escalate/resolve issues as they arise
● Stocktakes/cyclical counts

The Associate position is held once provisional license requirements have been met and a full immigration adviser license has been issued. This allowed me to then work autonomously and independently. Duties included:
● Meet with clients to gather information, prepare documentation and determine eligibility and necessary steps
● Prepared application forms and submissions for ongoing cases, including cases with issues such as character or health
● Liaised with clients and government authorities to gather and track case information
● Work to address any complaints or problems that arise whether with applicants, companies, government authorities or internal
● Attend client meetings for both new clients as an introduction or review with existing clients
● Provide training to onboard and ensure a smooth transition for new clients as well as updated trainings for existing clients when changes occur
● Communicate with applicants and companies when changes are introduced by the authorities to avoid any impacts on current or future applications - ensure transparency
● Act as an escalation point and primary contact when Practice Leader/Manager is out of once
● Work with global teams to review processes and amend where necessary to ensure efficiency and productivity
● Train new employees in best practices, systems and protocols
