WHO AM I

I’m an ethical product and brand photographer based in Queenstown. I help eco-brands captivate the right audience by transforming their message into stunning images. 

I started Organica Photography because I’m well and truly passionate about natural products and saving the planet. My heart does an excited little squeal when I look at a label and the ingredients are simple, yummy, uncomplicated things like “almond oil”. No Benzoflapalagans, thank you very much! 

MY WHY

After working in commercial photography for over 10 years, I’m lending my skills to projects that are more aligned with my values. I wanted to play my part to limit climate change by encouraging more people to shop with small, local, value-driven brands (like yours). I’d like to think I’m doing that through my earthy and emotive imagery. 

MY STYLE

My photography style is fresh and contemporary, with a touch of mother earth and a whole lotta soul. I like to get my feet dirty so I give you the option to shoot outside in nature or in my professional studio. Either way, you can trust that there will be textures, props and mint lighting to create an organic symbiosis, while visually telling the story of your product.

Uncomfortable in front of the camera? No worries! I’ll use my yogi superpowers to create a relaxed and fun environment so you can be yourself while I make you look (and feel) your best.

I have a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, I studied for 3 years in Business School, and a Bachelor’s Degree and Master of Laws. My educational background provides me with a strong understanding of the importance of communication, especially in the digital world.

I have strong leadership skills and sales abilities that I have developed in my experience of being a freelancer for almost 3.5 years now and from my previous law firm experience. I also have strong project management skills.

During my work experience, I’ve had the opportunity to develop full-scale digital marketing strategies for online businesses and to create both short-term and long-term marketing plans for clients. In addition, I have implemented these strategies through various digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok. I also have experience managing paid advertising through Facebooks Ads and creating email automation sequences through tools like MailChimp.

I am very passionate about helping entrepreneurs and businesses grow through effective use of social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

I have gained hands-on experience using various web tools such as WordPress and Squarespace. I am highly experienced in the use of Canva and Adobe tools to edit photos, create graphics for social media posts, and infographics. I am also experienced in project management tools like ClickUp, Asana or Notion to work with clients.

As a person, I am someone who is able to identify opportunities for growth for the business that I am working for, and I take on challenges with ease and from a resilient and persevering approach. I am intuitive and empathetic and, in the past, I have been known to have a very good ability to interact with teams and create a good and welcoming workflow and atmosphere.

Prior to starting my own business and working fulltime as a freelancer I was a Marketing Manager for Flight Centre Travel Group (the largest travel retailer in Australia) where I managed a team of 8 and was in charge of all the above the line marketing efforts for the brand with media spends of up to 1 million dollars per campaign. Now I am based between Australia and Bali, working with a number of smaller brands from all over the world.

I am a Facebook/Instagram/Pinterest Ad Specialist and also help my clients with Social Media Management, Email Marketing (Flodesk or Klaviyo), content creation, stories/videos/reels, photoshoots, campaigns, copywriting, digital marketing strategies, influencer collaborations etc… All things marketing, I’m your girl!
