Hello,
I have over 16 years in project coordinator, analyst and program management roles. I also am skilled in communications, I have a Bachelor of Communications from Massey University (communication management and media)

I am skilled in the creation of documentation, newsletters, and communications -having worked in many roles related to change in organisations.

I have also worked in many personal assistant and office-based roles. I have worked in a variety of large and small companies (and in many industries). I am 3 papers away from finishing my Masters in Digital Business and have much experience with technology and digital tools.

I have:

  1. Project managed many land development projects
  2. Helped grow a one-person business into a thriving SME
  3. Gained approval for, developed and delivered a Level 6 Diploma from the ground up
  4. Been raising a family
  5. Started my own business

The word unite is at my core.   I believe our world needs this more than ever before.  I’m here to be a part of that return to our knowing, that at the core of every person is a heart.

My life has been sprinkled with opportunities to connect people, some of these have been:

  • In my early years I was the girl in the class at college to organise our class adventures.
  • In my late teens I joined Leos (junior Lions), to contribute to the community at large.
  • At university I tutored a student with disabilities to ensure they had equal opportunities.
  • In work scenarios I’ve been the team member to organise events to connect people, lead people, teach people and motivate people.
  • I changed tack with my land surveying career to create a Diploma to offer to students around New Zealand online, in order that they were not disadvantaged due to location.
  • I pioneered online learning and building online community.
  • I created my own business, Unfurl, to enjoy “Creating Community with Soul”
  • I volunteered in a chair role to be involved in an Incorporated Society determined to establish a community led housing model to build community from the ground up.
  •  I volunteer as our Street Coordinator for Neighbourhood Support to bring together the people on our street who come from all corners of the world spanning years 0 – 87.
  • I administrate a private Facebook Group called Together in the World.  Its focus is to support the creation of a world based on an agreed vision to connect individuals as a community and to inspire members to co-create a future based on authenticity and respect.

My future has community written all over it.  We need to unite.

Previously an engineer, I transitioned to UX Design as it tied up all my interests in a nice little package.

It combines:

  • Experience in science, human-centered thinking and process-oriented solutions.
  • Interweaves my passion for art and creativity. 

I aim to create designs that are usable and accessible, and am a big advocate for end users. However, I think outside the box and bring creativity when it comes down to satisfying client’s requirements.
